I have now had the camera about 18 months and the batteries last only one day and it takes the camera about 10 seconds to turn on. There is also now a delay for the picture to take. This camera takes good pictures with good quality. The camera takes the picture about 2 to 3 seconds after I push the button. The reason I give it 3 stars is because after one year of use, the camera started to suck batteries.
