Samsung Galaxy Tab (10.1-Inch, 16GB, Wi-Fi)

I want to be able to use the Samsung Galaxy Tablet as a navigator, but what will I need in New Zealand? Maps? Sim card? I don't want to use the Tab as a phone and will be accessing the internet with Wifi.

A: If you are using the GPS system, not directly. It does need a connection to update maps and the like.
