Mcc302 - Mcintosh 2 Ch 600 Watt Power Amplifier

I have a McIntosh 443 1 Power Amplifier in my basement. Its older looking. Very Heavy it is black with white writing and blue rectangle around the writing. It says you can bridge it. Not sure how many channels. Has 4 hook ups on it.. I'm assuming 2 channel

A: 100 watts x 4, all channels driven. Paired channels can be bridged to provide 400 watts x 2 at the same frequencies and distortion levels.

I’ve been involved with music, phonographs, and hi-fi going back to when I was four or five years old. I came up at the end of the 78rpm era in the late 1950s. I would guess that I’m in the ballpark age of Michael Fremer. The really big “six oh” is arriving at the end of July—scary.

I got my love of music from my mother and my mechanical/troubleshooting ability from my father. Put music and mechanics together and you get phonograph records! A natural for me!

I received my first record player on Christmas day, 1957—a little 3-speed jobbie that my parents got from the G. Fox & Co. department store

HiFi Collector: Power Amplifier - McIntosh MC2105

The left channel VU seems to be a little more sensitive than the right - not sure which one is correct, but I can get these calibrated if and when I decide to do so. A couple small scratches on the chrome, a little bubbling around the headphone... Functionally, it's nearly the same as the MC2100, but where the 2100 is the "industrial" model - just the chassis and cage designed to hold the components and I/Os, the 2105 is what many people imagine when they think of a McIntosh power amplifier. This is a beautifully-designed amplifier. It also came with all the provenance - the owners manual, service guide, brochure, and original McIntosh This one is a late serial number model, manufactured in 1976. This particular unit sounds terrific as well....
