Yes, you can play other PSP games. It's just a slightly redesigned slim model.
However, from what I've heard, the PSP "Brite" is experiencing several screen problems, such as scanlines and worst ghosting than the Slim. On top of that, the plastic is said to feel cheaper (and I find silver a not-so-appealing color).

no you should get the psp 3000 because i have both it and the 2000 and comparing the graphics i find the colours of the 3000 to be much superbly brighter and flexible.
The psp 3000 is already out on its own at MYERS where you can get it for $280 or you can go to GAME and get it and any game instore for $300.

When you play the psp 2000 and 3000 inside is the glare really different?
I just want to know if theirs a difference between the picture of the psp when you play it inside. I don't really play any systems outside so I wouldn't care about the new screen. So is their a difference between the psp 2000 screen inside to the psp 3000 screen
yep the 3000 their is way less glare psp 3000 is the same exept upgraded and has 1 problem. it has lines on the screen.
How much memory does the Sony PSP 3000 come with?
Im getting a PSP-3000 for christmas (the new one - the sucessor to the Slim And Lite model). I know it has expandable memory, but how much does it have when you take it out of the box?
I bought one of the old ones which came with 32MB
But on this site http://www.us.playstation.com/News/PressReleases/484 it says that it has 64MB (next to main memory).
But the games don't use as much memory as PS3, PS2 etc. (my Harry Potter is 80KB so loads of memory isn't necessary unless you're going to put music, photos etc.)
